Hello my fellow friends,

I hope everybody has had a wonderful summer as we wrap up and prepare for fall. I know I am looking forward to the cooler dryer temperatures and hoping we can get the camp fire going again soon. Anyway sorry for the late blog post and email, I have been extremely busy and just neglected getting this done.

Last month was our 6th festival and it is amazing to see how far things have come in 6 months. I am so grateful for all of you, this would not happen or continue to happen without all of you being a part of it. I will say last month I asked for extra protein, ie chicken, and sure enough everyone came through. Thanks so much I will ask again please try to bring some extra food so that I can make sure there is enough food for everybody now that we are consistently getting bigger every month. I will still continue to smoke 2 pork butts, cook mac and cheese and baked beans.

Big shout out to the Maygen Navarro trio and Richard Jay. Maygen and her band rocked out for close to 3 hours providing some unique takes on classic songs and totally blowing away the audience. Richard Jay hoped on stage with his trusty Saxophone to jam with the trio for a few songs then played for about 45 minutes during their break. All of the music was absolutely wonderful thanks for being a part of this.

The September festival will be taking place tomorrow September 7th, 2025. Gates will open at 3 the music will likely start at 4 and the food will be ready around 6 as usual. I have been asked about what happens regarding rain, and thus far we have been quite fortunate but if it does rain please bring umbrellas or bring canopies if you have them.
