Hello friends of Summer Camp Music Festival,

It is that time of the month again where I send out the monthly email reminder and recap of last months event. First of all Sunday October 5th 2025 (tomorrow) will be the next event from 4-8:30 ish. The gates will open at 3 and the music will be starting around 4. The weather does look iffy but it should not be too hot and if it rains please bring umbrellas. We are hoping for the best but planning for the worst.

It is amazing that we are at the 8th month of doing this event, and grateful at how awesome all 7 previous events have been. As I always say I have the best friends in the world and am truly blessed to be able to share these gatherings with each of you. I hope that y'all look forward to being a part of this as much as those of us that help put this together. This event does not exist in a vacuum and great friends are what make this happen every month.

Last month we had the fantastic Brian Smalley bring his enormous talent as the main act of our backyard stage preceded by the wonderfully talented Zoe and her fantastic band Zozingbo. I had never seen a telecaster style ukulele till last month but was blown away by both acts.

This months line up is calling for a return of several OG acts by enormous popular demand. We have the wonderful guitar work of my dear friend John Pozo opening up the event. He has been incredibly busy doing his art and playing shows around central FL and New York for the last several months so we are incredibly blessed and lucky to have him back doing what he loves doing at our great home party. We also have the incredibly talented ARC whose primary members are among my most favorite musicians in town. If you have never heard ARC perform this will be a great opportunity to enjoy their music in a great outdoor atmosphere.

As these are both main acts booking 4 hour plus gigs they each will be awarded 2 hour slots filling up the 4 hours of music for our festival. This means there really is no opener act so please get here as early as possible around 4 pm to not miss out on any of the wonderful music they will be bringing. I am not sure but both of these acts may be bringing special guests to perform with them so be prepped for some surprise cameos to happen while they perform.

As usual I will be cooking 20 pounds of pulled pork, 10+ pounds of baked beans and two trays of Macaroni and Cheese. Please bring drinks, chairs and some food to share if possible. It would be great again to bring some kind of protein if possible to help make sure everybody has enough to eat on top of the food I will be cooking.
