What is up everybody, hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. Sorry for the late recap of Summer Camp Music Festival and BBQ IV but it was a terrific event filled with extremely talented musicians, great friends and fellowship, and perhaps the best pork butts I have cooked up to this point (according to my friends). I am gearing up for Summer Camp Music Festival and BBQ V which will be occurring this Sunday July 6th, 2025 and will provide another blog post probably this Friday July 4th with all the event details. This next event will be slightly different in format. While the gates will still be open at 3 the music will not start till 4 and the last act will be starting at 6 pm because folks seem to start heading out around 8pm. There will be an after party for anybody that sticks around as usual but we will see how it goes this time.
The music was some of the best we had and while my great friend Jon Jacy http://www.jonjaceymusic.com came down with laryngitis the day of the event my other great friend Andrew Rich http://linktr.ee/im.ndrw filled in at the last minute for his 2 hour set. I am extremely grateful for both of them and happy that Jon has fully recovered and been tearing up the music scene since then. We will be getting him back for another event to share his wonderful talent in the future. Final shoutout to my friend Junior Rohjas for taking wonderful photos at the last event.
