What is going everybody, it is that time for the 2nd Summer Camp Music Fest and BBQ this Sunday April 6th from 3-10 pm.

I hope everybody is doing well and and had a truly blessed month since the first event. I have been incredibly blessed with the hard work of a bunch of friends that provided their time, expertise, labor and even tools to help build the incredible 12x16+/- foot stage. This includes my friends Amelia Hartsough, who prompted me to build the stage, made the design and spent probably close to 15 or so hours with Matt Sills to help level, and build it. David Tindall and contractor Art Kozik for helping to square the stage, provided labor and the wonderful tools that were used to for the construction (David you are the man). To Joe Cucci and Curran Hohmann for helping me finish the final build. Finally I would like to thank Marc Percy for donating a shovel to the cause that allowed me to start digging before any construction had started. In addition, most of the stumps in my back yard have been dug up and with the strong wind I have been blessed with a new supply of firewood.

I have no idea how many folks are showing up but I am excited for another wonderful and fun filled, family friendly, event. The weather looks to be perfect with a high of 90+/- and a low of 78 with light winds and no precipitation. We will have a fire again and a s'mores area for those interested in some treats provided by Scott and Lacy Hasson (one of the birthday's we will be celebrating) and their wonderful family.

The line up for this event will be as follows

1. From 3-4 or so will be Mike Adkins
2. I (Christian Summer) will play from 4 till whenever as the Addhawks setup for their set

First of all if you are not playing this month please do not be dismayed there will be plenty of events and I will try to get you on for the May or June event. There will be many opportunities to play in the future! Finally I may have a special guest show up to close out the night if they are able to get here in time. All times will be flexible as I have worked some extra time in and I may not even get to play depending on how busy I will be.

Remember this is a family friendly event and review the rules here /summer-camp-music-fest. Please bring chairs, drinks and food to share if you are able to bring food. I will be cooking a good amount of BBQ, baked beans and mac and cheese.
